The “B-105 One Pet; One Vet” Puppies are Here!

October 12, 2018

These are the two German Shepherd puppies that our B-105 listeners raised over $50,000 to train to become service dogs for two Tri-State veterans! Meet Foxtrot and Big Red One! They are 11 weeks old and have already started their training through the Battle Buddy Foundation. Because of listener generosity, all costs–including veterinary bills, dog food and ongoing training–will be taken care of for the veterans for as long as they have the dogs!

The Big Dave Show set a goal for their listeners in June to donate $25,000 to the Battle Buddy Foundation to purchase a service dog for a local veteran.

The mission: One Pet; One Vet.

B-105 listeners SMASHED that goal with over $50,000 raised, providing not one, but two, service dogs for Tri-State heroes.

We couldn’t have done this without our listeners’ generous donations.

Special thanks to our partners who provided donation incentives: The Cincinnati Zoo, Kings Island, the Cincinnati Reds and Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food, the Cincinnati Bengals, Graeter’s, Kroger, Mike’s Carwash, Panera Bread and Warner Music Nashville.
